   Heat the oven to 350°F and lightly oil a 2-quart baking dish.

   Whisk the soup and milk together, then fold in the cooked chicken and green chiles.

   Spread one third of the chicken mixture in the dish. Add half the tortilla strips and one third of the cheese.

   Repeat the layers, then finish with the remaining chicken mixture and cheese.

   Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until the center is steaming hot and the cheese is deeply golden. Rest for 10 minutes before serving.
